Terms of Service

By using BKMRK ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

BKMRK is a bookmark intelligence tool for developers. It fetches your X (Twitter) bookmarks, accepts URL submissions, extracts full content (articles, YouTube transcripts, threads, GitHub READMEs), analyzes everything against your coding projects using Claude AI, and presents actionable insights. The Service includes a web dashboard, API endpoints, a Claude Code skill (/bkmrk), and an OpenClaw agent integration.

2. Accounts

  • You can create an account by signing in with X, or via agent onboarding with an email address
  • You are responsible for your account security, including your API key
  • One account per person
  • You must be 18 or older to use the Service
  • You may optionally connect GitHub to import project context

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Free tier: 50 bookmarks, 1 project, 25 re-analyses/month, 5 agent submissions (lifetime trial), no daily sync
  • Pro ($9/mo or $79/yr): 200 bookmarks, 5 projects, 100 re-analyses/month, 10 daily syncs, unlimited agent submissions
  • Scale ($29/mo or $249/yr): 500 bookmarks, unlimited projects, 500 re-analyses/month, 20 daily syncs, unlimited agent submissions
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • Cancel anytime via the Manage Billing portal — access continues until the end of your billing period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

4. Content Processing

You retain ownership of your bookmark data, submitted URLs, and project descriptions. By using the Service, you grant us permission to:

  • Fetch and store content from URLs you bookmark or submit (article text, video transcripts, thread content, repository data)
  • Send this content to Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis against your projects
  • Store the analysis results (scores, summaries, suggestions) in our database
  • Display this data in your dashboard and return it via the API

We do not sell your data. Content is only shared with the third-party services listed in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your API key with others
  • Attempt to circumvent tier limits, rate limits, or URL safety checks
  • Submit URLs containing malware, phishing, or illegal content
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service
  • Resell access to the Service
  • Access other users' data or attempt to use their API keys

6. AI Analysis

Analysis results are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. The Service provides suggestions and insights — you are responsible for evaluating and acting on them. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

7. URL Submissions

URLs submitted via the dashboard or agent API are checked against Cloudflare Family DNS to block malware and adult content, and against a private IP blocklist to prevent access to internal networks. We reserve the right to reject or remove any submitted URL.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service depends on third-party APIs (X, Anthropic, Stripe, GitHub, YouTube) that may experience downtime. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BKMRK is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted, including all bookmarks, analysis results, projects, and usage history.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email.
